The Civilized Way To Chill Your Drink

During our visit to Japan, we saw an amazing presentation of an ice ball that we have adopted into our everyday drinking. The common way is to just drop the ice ball into a glass of whiskey or pour whiskey over it. The downside with that method is that you're touching the ice, whiskey splashes all over the place, the ice ball may crack from the shock, or from pouring room temperature whiskey on the ice ball. There is a better, cooler, and more
civilized way of doing this.

1. Put your spoon into the cup

2. Drop the ice ball into the spoon using your tongs

3. Lower the ice ball gently into your cup
